We are seriously considering the Allegro Bus for our new MH to replace our 05DSDP. We would like to inquire if anyone has mounted the Motosat unit on their coach and what difficulties they had (if any). Having the 3 A/C's on top does not leave a lot of room and we have not personally measured the rooftop to see if one would fit. Any ideas?

Since this is your first post, I'd like to welcome you to irv2 Seabird2!
I THINK you're asking about space to mount your Datastorm 6000. We have a 29 foot Safari Trek with two Motosat units on our roof, A Motosat Datastorm F1, just behind the front cap, and a Motosat MD500 a little rear of center on our coach. I thought things might be a little tight but our installers, Bill & Janet Adams, did a great job and we have had no problems since they were first put up there a year and a half ago. Space shouldn't be a problem, but I would do some measuring before committing to any plan.

Seabird2,
Welcome! There should not be any issue moving your F1 from your old coach to your new one. Even with the 3 airs there is still plenty of room to install the antenna.
Good luck with your new coach and "after" you make the deal be sure to make the dealer move your antenna.

We just had a G74 installed on our 40'QTH. The installer moved the TV antenna and it fit perfect.

Thanks for the replies. We have already taken the satellite off of our old coach and should have the new MH ordered by next month. Just planning ahead!

Take a look at the following picture. It is a Bus. http://www.datastormusers.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/u...ic/f/1/t/001226.html

I don't think you will have a problem.
