rotts4u,

I've already called the tire company that deals with the big stuff and gotten a price to do the job. Now all I have to do is order the shocks to be here when I'm home.
Any suggestions on where to buy? Aeh

Since I bought mine in pairs, first the front and then the rear I had two chances to price shop. For the fronts I got the best deal at www.shox.com plus they ship for free.

When I got around to the rears there were a few places that had them at similar prices but I used shox.com again mainly because of the free shipping and the last time they were fast and accurate.

I tried to play around with the shocks before I installed them to "adjust" the settings on them but could not get it to work so it may be worth asking if all Koni FSD's are adjustable or not. Maybe mine were the last generation I am not sure.

I used the part number from Konis webpage and the shocks are marked with the part number.

I also see that brazels RV has the Konis in stock and they are a good resource if you need help along the way but they will be slightly more $$$.

Good luck.

I just talked to KONI North America and I do have the latest shocks. The new FSD shocks for RVs are GOLD in color and are NON adjustable. That is what I got from Shox.com. So now jsut pick you dealer and order away and enjoy the new ride.

rotts4u,

Do you know if Precision Frame has free shipping? The prices per shock I'm showing so far are Koni North America: $165.00, LTB Motorsports: 148.42 w/free shipping & Precision Frame: 139.00. Precision Frame is the least expensive if they have free shipping or the shipping charges per shock are less than $9.42.

Sorry I dont know the shipping status of anyone other than Shox.com and that is only because I bought mine there. At the time I bought my front shocks they were cheaper than the others except I didnt uncover the Precision Frame supplier until yesterday. I dont think you will beat that price unless their shipping price is crazy.

Now I am trying to figure out how to get something similar to the Henderson motion control units for a lot less $$. $169 for 2 flow control valves seems pretty high to me when the ones we buy here at the plant all day are about $7 each and those are fully adjustable.

rottts4u,
They are a little pricey but the are DOT stamped, and they have a great product support and reputation. I guess someone has to pay for the work they did.

We have ordered a 36' Allegro Bus. Since most who have put Koni shocks on say there's an improvement, can we pay extra and have them installed when it is built rather than do it at a later date?
