Ohhhhh....I'm not sure I like that "White Glaze" look. Kind of reminds me of a poor job of painting a coat of white paint on a dark wall Big Grin

Looks like there's one coat left, doesn't it Joe?

Buddy of mine just bought a leftover '08 Phaeton from Sleazy Days..... drove it back to VA.

What's up with Tiffin & their mish-mash of wood finishes (like the black tv hutches)? For such first class motorhomes, these finish mixes makes it look like they put it together after shopping at a Salvation Army store or a fleamarket. Just what are their designers thinking?!?! Oboy

I couldn't agree with you more regarding the glazed finish "experiments". Eek I particularly like the way they "patch it in" rather than make a continuous design element out of it. Jester

Thanks for the sneak peaks at the '09 model

I like the in dash GPS rather then the computer for someone who wants to get everything in the dash, but GPS technology changes so fast, I still personally like a stand alone unit.

The new armrest format with angles switches and forward shifted transmission panel is nice Thumbs Up except the transmission panel is now in the way of where I'm mounting my miniaturized SilverLeaf monitor.

Why they went with a new thirds based display panel instead of putting in the SeeLevel, I just don't know. Confused I just finished putting in my SeeLevel and it absolutely blows away those "thirds" based systems.

I agree on the monitor panel. You just can't beat SeeLevel. Fortunately, one was installed in a Phaeton prototype so they ARE evaluating it. Now what they need is 500 letters from customers asking for it to help move them along. Big Grin

I have even more shots now, including exterior. I've posted them on a new page at www.RVcruzer.com/2009_Bus.htm. I'll keep updating that page as I get more info. That page also contains links to the list of changes and current pricing.

So since Bob Tiffin is so willing to listen to his customers, can't someone mention to him their designers need to take a basic "Coordinating Wood Finishes 101" class? Hammer Or, do they have Hildi working for them?
