It was for a new Phaeton 42' tag axle.

Thanks, EA. That supports my contention, and I'm really flattered that CRUZER "agrees" with me, as he is the acknowledged Tiffin expert.

IMO, 27% off MSRP on a tag axle DP is also a pretty good deal. Sometimes us consumers forget that the dealers MUST make a profit to stay in business, employ people, and pay taxes.

I'm certainly not bashful about spreading the word regarding available discounting, and laugh out loud when I hear a saleman claiming they "can't do better than 15% off". Some of these guys act like their $10,000+ per unit profit just isn't there. Yeah, right! That said, the OP was regarding getting "only" 23% off on an entry level coach, and I still think that ain't a bad deal. ED

Try Lazydays, this is where we just bought/ordered our new Bus. With a trade we still got 26% off retail. This was the best deal I could get after talking and emailing 10 dealers.
