With the outside TV or radio, please be considerate of the people camping around you. Last time we were out, two big coaches came in and parked side by side. On had the outside TV in a bay and the kids sat out and watched music videos until all hours....and way to loud. I finally went over at 11:30 PM and told the kids and parents about the quiet hours and there were a lot of folks around them that would like to get some sleep. Seemed to be a major letdown to them that no one else cared to hear their choice of entertainment.

May I ask who did the work for you installing the outside TV?

The guy's name is Bruce Deaton.. His shop is located on thre right side just before the tracks aaat the entrance of the main factory in RED BAY. I'm very satisified... better than factory.

I have a 04 Phaeton. And since I like TV outside, I had one in the front compartment on a articulating arm, but it was so hard to see beacuse of the slide and you were always looking down.

So I went and got the new THULE system with a pod and the TV mount. I took my small 15" lcd and put it outside on the slide. It works great. I just have to run a permannent cable and a/c outlet under it. I can put up to a 25" tv with this mount, so I will be shopping over the holidays for a larger HD version!

And the big benefit there was no major construction so the cost was kept down.

I like to sit out and watch Tv but down here in the South we have critters that try to eat you alive. What do you use to keep the mosquitos away? I hate to use smelly sprays and Citronella candles dont work that well. So usually when it gets dark you will find me inside
