My sentiments exactly Lenny!!

With the prospect of now traveling with two eleven year old girls and a twelve year old boy, I'm sure I'd be more than happy to sit out under the awning and watch the big kids tv... Jester

Maybe even with a big kid's glass of wine!

I have the ext. TV mounted in the slide and I absolutely love it. I am a huge football fan so it is a hit on weekends. I was outside in 40 degree weather the last two weekends watching NFL games. It was awesome, I felt like I was at the game. I think the new location is genius. I find there is much less glare with the overhead door and higher location. I did not find the angle of view while sitting in a chair to cause me to strain my neck at all...and the picture quality on the Panasonic is excellent, especially in HD. If you enjoy being outside of your coach like we do, get the T.V. It is a great setup.

Get It!
I have the outside TV on my 2008 Phaeton QTH and I think it is great. It does not take up any of the space in the basement which is very helpful since we never seem to be able to carry all of our stuff. I like to spend time outside and the TV alows me to watch shows that the DW does not like such as sports and news and etc.
I also have the center TV on the inside in the front and it a real head knocker. The bottom corner of the wood frame is not rounded but is a squared corner. I have placed a small stuffed animal hunging from the entrance side corner to at least get your attention and soften blow if struck. I have gotten used to it but am afraid thatm some visitor will accidently bang their head.
Has anyone talked to Tiffin about this issue? It is definatly a safety issue

I use my bay mounted TV quite a bit. Would love to have one mounted like the 08's but don't have the pockets for it yet. It's nice to sit here in the sun with a cup of coffee (maybe a little Irish in it) and watch all the snow bound places on the weather channel. For cold days when I want to be outside, I use one of the portable propane campfires that CW was nice enough to put on sale after I bought mine. I use a 5 gal cylinder with a y adapter so I can sit by the fire and grill at the same time all the while keeping and eye on my TV program. This is part of the "Good Life."

I have a 2007 42' bus.... want a tv in slide so bad I was ready to trade.... Went to Red Bay, found a body shop that will install factory box for me... $1500.00. In progress right now.... could not see the basement tv with guest around... door, glare, and low location... also modified awning with 5' sun screen to block glare... can't wait.. ready for football tailgating big time.

It was interesting to see this post come up again.

After the consideration, we did end up getting the outside TV and love it. There's been a times when it's been great to be able to turn on the weather channel and watch it, or catch a sporting event or race. It was definitely the right choice.

I'm glad to hear you can get the TV installed in the wall in your coach. You'll like it also.

We also opted for the outside TV and have used it a number of times to watch Nascar with friends at a campout.
