I took the cover off the passenger side conttol buttons and found two loose wires, the awning works but some times you need to hold the utton down ao push it three or four times??????

The A&E Weather Pro on my 2004 DSDP started acting like yours, while it was only a month old. I would sometimes press the button and the awning would only go a few inches and stop. I would continue pressing the button until the awning inched it's way to complete it's cycle.
The dealership tapped on the forward end of the aluminum tube (that is where the motor is), with a rubber mallet, while they activated the button. It took a few minutes, the awning would go farther and further each time, then the awning started to operate correctly.
They called Dometic to have the motor replaced. Dometic denied the replacement. They said that once the magnets in the motor were loosened up/broken free, it shouldn't happen again. That was over 4 years ago and it has worked fine since then.
