Just printed this Topic to read, as DW ran me off the computer. Here is a link to Marshall's Information Page. They have an article on their MGC 5th wheel remote cyclinder LP gas system. There is also info on the Auto change over regulator that might be helpful. As I don't know if this has been mentioned before or covering old information, I'll try and read faster.

Well, if I had read faster initially, I wouldn't have printed the 14 pages only to realize it was Dec 2006 and yes, has been covered before.

ChiefJohn, if you required everyone to read all past Topics and take a quiz, Thinker this wouldn't happen.

I am in the process of updating my gas system by installing the hi pressure regulator on the roadside system.

I came in here to re-read the thread and thought it might be good to bump it and have everyone check their rig and make the changes if they need to before it gets cold.

Out here in Colorado in the mountains you never know when it might snap and get cold at 9000 feet. Cool

Hi, embarrasing, but... I forgot which way the propane regulator auto-switchover handle (the long end) points for gas flow: when the long end of the handle is to the left, is it using the left tank? I have a 2006 L33RLO. Thanks.

Hi Brian,

When the lever is turned to the left, the primary tank is the roadside and of course,
when the lever is the turned to the right, the curbside is the primary tank.

If you go out at the switchover regulator and forget this, simply look at which hose the lever is pointed to - that's the tank that is initially being drawn from. HTH rockintom

So the lever is pointing to the right hose (roadside tank) when the long handle part is turned to the left?

Ah, yes, looking is always a good thing (as I smack myself -- V8-style -- in the forehead): I just saw the word "supply" and the arrow on the lever -- never noticed that before. Sorry about the confusion, and thank you very much for your time. Brian

Brian,

As they always say...a pic says a thousand words. Me, having an IQ of 14 would rather look at a pic than try to fiqure it out. I made this pic large on purpose to read the text. My lever is pointing to my ROADSIDE tank now (my primary). HTHs. Tom

Brian, Please don't thank him for his time. He'll start to expect courtesy from all of us and will probably get his tender feelings hurt when it doesn't come.
