I carry a high pressure CO2 bottle, no compressor or tank for me. the pressure is adjustable from a few lbs. to 200 lbs. Fills tires super quick and also works great on all air tools. A ten lb. bottle will probably last two to three years, easily. The web site shows a video of it inflating a monster truck tire, 0 to 70 lbs. in 20 seconds !

The rear of my Excel received allot of road grime when driving in the rain or on wet roads. I've got the rear hitch and decided to install the Enkay Rock Tamers to reduce the spray. These are heavy duty mud flaps that mount into your hitch and can be used when towing boats, toads, etc. These mud flaps don't reduce all the spray, but do make a big difference in keeping the road grime off the back of the Excel.

John,
Thanks! This is what I'm talkin' about. Good info. Would this work if you have a bike rake in the rear without a bunch of work? Keep them coming folks. Sharing can make us smarter! Tom

Tom, if the bike rack mounts in a receiver hitch, it will mount through the Enkay. This is a quality built product that I had on my F-350 dually--DW would have give me **** if I hadn't found a use the Enkays Smile

For those that use DirecTV, no experience with Dish, tap off the DirecTV receiver (between the receiver and the TV) for the bdrm TV and run another coax down to the curbside storage compartment. Using an RF (radio frequency--example DirecTV H10) receiver/remote in the bdrm (NOT IFR), you'll be able to watch your TV and change channels outside without the need for another receiver.

I use the Ultraguard flap to keep from throwing rocks into my boat. Bolted it to a piece of angle iron then use self taping screws to mount it to the frame across the back just in front of the factory boat hitch.

It goes all the way across the back like on motorhomes. I like better than what John uses. Wink

Water sensor / alarm

On two separate occasions we have had a water leak in the basement utility core, i.e. behind the sliding doors. The first time was when the coach was first received and it was associated with a loose fitting on the water pump. The second time was a leak in the drain for the shower. In both of these cases, the carpet became saturated with water and that is how I noticed it. In order to have a heads-up for this situation if it occurs again, I purchased a battery operated sensor from Lows for $12.95. I mounted it in the basement utility core with the two probes in contact with the carpet. The alarm can be heard from inside the coach. I hope I don’t ever hear it, but if I do, It will let me know I have a problem and hopefully before I have too big of a mess.

"EXCEL"ent idea!!! I'll look into placing them on in our parts department. From Home experience and also at Fair Shows, were we may have water on units have had water issues, not fun and embarassing. So what a good idea.
