In MN, appartently the local grocery stores (Walmart SC) can't not sell wine. Of course, Oak Leaf is only available in WM. The Goose and Juice stuff like Larry Godby does is a little high priced for a guy retired and on a "fixed income". Yum Currently, I think I'm in recovery! Doesn't hurt a bit....just makes me a little grouchy though. I think I'm using fishin' to calm my nerves from this stressful life we live! Laugh

Tom,

I searched for something else to soothe the savage beast within.

http://www.happycamperwines.com/

Sorry It is not available in MN, you will have to go to Iowa to get some. Plus it is a high priced wine for you, about $8 per bottle.

Sorry I tempted you and pulled it back.

Oh well Laugh

Something to think about; Oak Leaf is 1/10th the price of goose but it doesn't take much goose to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. So if you are concerned about cost per hangover move to goose, it is much cheaper.

Larry,

You are always "searching" and come up with some good stuff. The label on this wine is real cute. I'd buy a bottle or two just to show it off at our campground! I like to impress folks that way! To buy this wine is cost prohibited as it $8.00 a bottle. Heck that's more than we currently pay for fuel. Even, I, have my priorities! Laugh

Sure Chief, everyone knows you have to have a good exterior door lock to protect your wines. Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Recently we had some people break into some RVs at a storage facility and steal some items. They broke the window out of the door to get in.

Some club members have remove the window in the door and replaced it with some sort of plexiglas that is a smoke color, it lets you look out and from what I heard it is stronger than the glass in the door.

The glass that you are talking about is probably Lexon (Not sure on the spelling), but is pretty solid stuff. Mower decks and some other RV related product have been using the products due to their strength. Sounds like a good protection plan.

Close enough to Google, it is Lexan.

Lexan is used in the aerospace industry for aircraft canopies, windscreens and other windows, but can be found in household items, such as bottles, compact discs, and DVDs. Perhaps the most visible Lexan consumer product is the Apple Computer iBook and the iPod — the gleaming white plastic is Lexan.

Lexan is also used in:

* The visors for the helmets on the Apollo space programme
* Automotive headlight covers to prevent small rocks and stones from breaking headlights bulbs
* Racing cars to replace heavier (and breakable) glass windshields and windows
