We just made it in to the Nashville Country RV Park. Guess what? An early '05 35 FLR just like ours except it is a early model with first design compartment doors and electrical connection at the rear. Looks very permanent. Looks like a unit that was pulled to the site and setup, not much road time. No one home, I'll keep trying.

Update 6/16: Finally found someone home but they weren't interested in talking to me about their Excel. Frown They musta known me from somewhere.....maybe they read this forum!!! Oh well...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

We saw an older Excel going south on Loop 465 in Indianapolis on 6/17 near I-65 just before noon. Towed by a white Ford with accent stripes. Anyone

I finally saw my first Excel on the highway. It was at the 810 mile marker on Interstate 10 at FM 563 about halfway between Beaumont & Houston, TX.

Was it anyone from this group?

Located a very old Excel in the Edge O Dells RV Resort at the Wisconsin Dells, WI. Looks like a mid 80's 35 ft. Classic, 2 slide . Setup as a permanent and had been there awhile, clean though. No one home. Tom

Saw another Excel headed west on I 10 just east of Baytown, TX. I'm sure they will remember that area as there was a truck on fire that burned for about an hour. We were 2 cars behind the accident & these people were a long way behind us so I'm sure they were very tired of waiting as well.

Just wondered if it could have been any of our members?

A '97 27ft single parlor slide Excel just pulled in to the park. In talking with the owners they had the unit since new and take small trips close to home, here in Minnesota near Duluth. The unit stays under a covered shed and looks brand new. Marvin and Verna have been to 3 or 4 Excel reunions. Nice Excel folks.
