I have the 2006 V10, with the tow/haul feature transmission. My engine is rated at 305 HP though. Can I get a power chip for it?

The Ultrapower chip for the V10 works on the two valve engine. The new 362 HP electronics package is different.

Hi: I installed the banks chip on my 2005 Itasca, Ford V10 and it deffinetly increased the power and the mileage. I also changed the exhaust which really made a difference but does make some noise. I went from 7 to 9.6 miles per gallon(Imperal gallon) Power inrease was very good, really noticed it on the hills.
One of the big power problems is getting the exhaust out and I put on a 3 inch with a partial flowthrough muffler(noisey) and tried without the inverter. That really brought out the horses but I did not like the noise, also that was where I averaged the 9.6mpg on my 9300km or 6000 mile trip. I did reinstal the inverter when I got back home and it dropped the miles back down to around the 8.So the chip is accually improving the mileage by about 1 mpg.But it is still better than 7 that I was getting. Power increase is what the chip really does well.
Instal of these is really easy, remove the computer, cut a piece of plastc out and plug it in.No a hard job at all .hardest part is getting at the back screws on the computer.
One thing to remember though, adding a chip/power mod, may not do much for your warrenty.

Bob&Pat,

Our chip increases Horsepower by adding timing, changes fuel trim tables,MAF tables,ETc.This chip can be self installed, although it's not easy, and it installs in the dash. The cost is 795.00 retail & 695.00 for IRV2 Freinds & customers.

800 bucks,,are you nuts ??????????? should not be more than 100-200 dollars,, Get a super chip or JDM 0r lots of others...
