"007" just checked out the "latest from FORD" link and found something rather interesting, for example, the compression ratio shown: Compression Ratio 18.0:1. That seems pretty high for a gas engine, almost appears to be for a diesel.

Then:Valvetrain OHV, 4 valves per cylinder. Did they add another valve? I thought it was an OHC 3 valves per cylinder.

Could it be a typo or is it for real?

Jim, I think it's regretable that you spoke with a live person and they were not able to assist you or make an offer to get you the information you requested as soon as possible.

I would just e-mail the Ford info line as found on the web page. AT this time of year its possible that most of the people could have been out on holidays. I tried to get government information yesterday and that was a bust. Call back on January 6th.
Oh well.

Jim,
The contact info on the press release is for Ford Customer Assistance. The only dept that is really manned during the holidays is Roadside Assistance.
This is due to the big 3 shutdown that occurs during the holiday period.
I would imagine you can get your questions answered next week after the 1st.

Hi All, thanks for the suggestions, I may send them an e-mail, but really, it's not all that important. Guess I a bit of a nit-picker--LOL

Thanks again & do have a Happy, Healthy & Safe New Year
