OUTSTANDING!

Both video's are great!

We have been telling this to Bus drivers for years. The training room was always full of gasps when we told them to accelerate hard upon a blow out. It goes against everything most of us know or were taught.

It is also spot on correct.

Everyone should see this video.

Good info Ichn2go, thanks!

As a member in good standing in the Motorhome Section of iRV2.com be it known that the video presented by Michelin Tire & Rubber, is "required watching"!

Applies to any brand, make and model tire or motorhome.

The whole thing takes about 20 minutes, and you will learn a lot of new things and review some of the things that you knew already viewed in practical terms.

These videos will certainly keep us talking about weights and tires in this thread for a long time. So go and get your favorite beverage and sit back and enjoy the movie!

Hey Ghost, how's about makin this one sticky for a while, and maybe make the title a little more reflective of the content.

It's a pretty important thing for as many visitors to see this one as possible.

Thanks for your consideration

Done. We probably ought to copy this over to the Gen Mohome discussion forum so those folks can get this information also.

Great information. IdeaSome of the things I did not know. Should be "requried viewing" for all who operate any vehicle. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Also not to endorse a particular brand of tire but I have used Michelins on numerous vehicles for past 20 years and Love 'em! They make a great tire and if they sponsor a site like that one they must be doing something right!

Thanks for this excellent information ichn! Big Grin

It looks like it'll be great viewing if I can ever get to see the whole thing. Roll Eyes Since I'm on a "dial-up" connection it takes a loooong time to load each video. I've only been able to view a short portion of the first one so far.

Does anyone know if there's a way to permanently save these to my hard drive for future viewing w/o having to reconnect to the site and wait for them to load? I tried right clicking on the video links and selecting the "Save target as" choice in the pulldown, but I get a message that IE cannot connect to the site. Confused

I suppose I could just contact Michelin and ask for them to send me copies on VHS.

Any ideas guys? Thanks. Smile

You can save the Michelin web site to your "Favorites" and the info and video will be permanently held there.

Great, useful and timely information. Now, if I could only make myself do the right thing in an emergency!
