I'm posting for a friend who has a 2003 Intrigue with a compass and exterior temperature indicator. It's in the area of the leveling system. They say it is not a GPS. Can anyone guide me to information on this system? I've seen outfits like that at most auto parts stores (Auto-Zone, Checker, Pep-Boys). I briefly had one I got on sale from Sharper Image, but in order to calibrate the compass you had to drive the car in a circle several times and I wasn't eager to do that in a 40' motorhome. Plus there was something wrong with it, don't remember what.
It literally is what you called it, a compass with thermometer(s) and optionally other clock like functions built in. It works on magnetic fields, not reception from satelites. I also have that very thing built into the mirror on my GMC pickup; works pretty good. John (40' 2004 Country Coach Inspire DP) |

Thank you for the reply John66. The people with the 2003 Intrigue are here waiting at Guaranty RV as we are. As we sit in the reception area all day, I let people know about iRV2 and the great information that is shared here. They have the 'compass with exterior temperature indicator' as standard equipment in the dash area of their CC. I looked at the on-line CC brochures and found it listed. They say it doesn't work and I thought I might be able to post the question and help them some. Not a big problem. They say they will deal with it some other time and try to get it to work.
