Opps - I mis-read Ron's previous post...I thought it said 28% to 35% off....
No way I'm buying what will soon be a 2 year old (new 2007) coach for just 28% off...
Can't you buy a 2008 now for 24% off ?

Yep, should be able to get 24% or even more off of MSRP on a current model. In my opinion, last years model or more should be treated as a used unit. Except for any warranty, it will be valued as a used unit...

Yes, that is interesting..I don't think I'm supposed to name names on the forum...but I talked to them and I wouldn't even buy a water hose from those guys.

Naming names is OK as long as the related information is truthful, not confidential, etc.

See the iRV2 RULES for more information.

Why should you give much more than invoice on a current model year coach? The dealership gets a factory holdback just like in the auto industry.

The best I can tell there is about 28.5% difference between factory invoice and MSRP. Of course, you still have to keep an eye out for the dearships that make up their own MSRPs. I've seen some that have taken the factory MSRP and recreated one on a computer and add 15-20% to each line item, then they give you 25% off of "that" MSRP.

I'll bet if the truth be known, the dealership makes more money off of a used coach than a new one anyway, besides, the money making part of a RV dealership is in the service dept.
