A sad day that we all knew was coming.

Our hearts and thoughts are with Janice and the kids as they go through these next days.

Seldom in life you come upon a man like Ralph Hamilton. He dropped out of school early in Alabama to help his family make ends meet. Served his country in the armed forces, and then went own to have a wonderful family and build a very successful business. I am sure he had his fair share troubles in life, but as you would stand beside him you would never know. He is an example of what a man CAN do with odds against him, if he has faith and the love and support of a wonderful spouse.

Ralph was an Honest man, who had integrity. He stood for what he believed, and believed in what he stood for. He seldom encountered a stranger, and was without a doubt the loudest and strongest supporter of iRV2 in the Southeast, perhaps then entire country.

I will not soon forget that spring afternoon when pulling into the first Florida Boomer Rally I saw this guy with glasses waving wildly, as if I could miss him, showing me the way to my campsite. If his smile had been any wider he would have needed cheek extenders. The start of a great friendship. I hope someday to again be greeted by this guy with glasses waving wildly, as if I could miss him, showing me the way to my final campsite. Hey Ralphie, save me a good spot.

Memories are forever,
And Jim and I will have many Of Ralphie's, and the many rallies we shared together, and rally is what Ralphie liked to do, first to be there and almost last to leave, forever helping every Florida Boomer as they arrived.
Jim and I met Ralphie and Weezie at Rock Crusher Canyon around 2001 and we were invited to join the Boomers. Ralphie and Jim where the alabama boys. We are forever greatful for that meeting.
Janice and family you have our deepest sympathy and prayers.

Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to Ralphie's family and friends. I was only with Ralphie at one rally in Florida and I found him to be one of those people that you like immediately. One of the first things he said was that he was glad I was there to take some of "Missy's" heat, I can picture him standing there by his rig stating that. In great sorrow, Bud and Ruth

The answer is it is on the road behind the park......
It is a state park, so you can get exact address off their website for Florida State Parks.

It has huge pull through sites - 2 different sections.

Very nice park!

Jody ---sorry, I didn't get back sooner, doing house renovations---

Colleen and I send our deepest sympathies to the Hamilton family and to his extended family who have known him during his stay with us on earth. We truly will miss Ralphie. Colleen spoke to me of a moment that she experienced with Ralphie that was very special to her and it's something that she will never forget.

Few people in this life have had the opportunity to touch so many people with kindness and a good word and a great smile like Ralphie.

Farewell Boss and may the Lord receive you in his arms in the manner that you received so many of us.

Saturday August 5 2006
It was a sad day and beautiful day.
Sad day we buried a good friend.
But a beautiful day as we sat in the Church and listen to all the tribute payed to such a humble and caring friend.
WE will think of Ralph often as we travel in the RV,attending rallies and camping doing what he loved so doing.
To Janice we love you and we will keep in touch.
To Ralph save me a spot it doesn't have to be a pull through.
