Mrs. Scoggins...
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. Although I never met your husband...I have read many of his posts on different RV forums. He always seemed willing to help a friend or a stranger any way that he could. He will be missed by the forum community. Sincerely, MonacoMama & SacsTC |

I knew Jim well. He was a great guy. In fact Jim and I helped pick out the coach that quite unfortunately was involved in the tragic accident.
This accident should serve to tell each and every one of us, no matter what type of coach we may own, that we have NO BUSINESS getting under a coach, PERIOD. Let the professionals do what they are trained to do at a competent and professional shop. There are those who advise others to do their own maintenance. Those who do their own maintenance and expect others to do the same may be giving very bad advice indeed. Jim will be missed by not only the Prevost community, his friends, family and the RV community as well. His contribution to the USMC is legendary and may he rest in peace. His tragic accident serves as a reminder to us all to be very careful in the maintenance and repair of our coaches. |

Oh Gosh,
nothing more terrible than that to happen to you. My husband has a friend who owned a Monster Truck and was doing some work underneath it when it fell on him also and he had the same result. That is SO sad. I will keep his family in my thoughts! Jo AntiqFreq Plantation, Florida 2007 Keystone Cougar 291RLS TV- 2003 Ford F250, 7.3 diesel, crew cab, 4x4 |
