I did the same exact thing.You have to angle the drill bit to get as close to bottom as possible.Mine leak depending on the angle of level,sometimes the drivers side ,sometimes the passenger side.I also have to keep cleaning the weep holes.Its a bad design, my dealer was clueless.I didnt feel like waiting on them so I drilled,work great.Let me know if you need a pic.
