Hi folks, just returned from a vacation in florida and during our trip was able to visit camping world in tampa where we picked up some add-on toys for our 30f hurricane.the reason for this post is I require a photo of as teersafe installed on an independant front suspension chassis as install instuctions are missing.had a great time in florida and arrived home to scotland uk at 4deg,c and feeling it cold. thanking you in advance, Alan

You need to add some rig info in your signature so we can properly comment on what works and what doesn't.

I would suggest that you call the Steer Safe folks and let them help you. They have great customer service. But, in your case email as it could cost a few $$ for a phone call from Scotland.

I too, bought a used set and did not get the install instructions. After some some frustration on me calling and them not answering... my fault for not figuring out they were closed for Thanksgiving. I found out that there was an Steer Safe engineering change for the 04 model year Workhorse chassis due to the increase in the steering cut. If your chassis was made in Apr 04 or later you will need the new style Steer Safe. In my case I had a Dec 03 made chassis and the old style worked.

Lazy Days , it is my favorite place to spent 4 to 7 days. while in Tampa and running into all the people you see at the camp grounds around. it seems they all come south in the fall and winter.
got to admit Camping World at Lazy Days is the biggest outlet on the east coast.

Hi guys,have been under rv today and can't figure out steersafe install.photos posted seem to be leaf spring models,however my rv has independant front suspension with coil springs.has anyone installed a steersafe on ifs chassis???? Alan

Sorry but I do not think you can install on that type suspension. I will short cut down to Workhorse forum where we will get the answers.

AWR you must have a P-32 chassis. They make a different set up for that chassi. Not the same one used on a W series chassis. Had Steer Safe on my 97 P chassis and on my 2001 W chassis.

An update on my steersafe query. It turns out that when I collected my steersafe I was given the wrong model[correct part no,in correct box]. Hence the reason I could not understand why the install looked so difficult.Anyway I have now spoken to a very efficient Scott Helms at campingworld in tampa.He has now forwarded the correct model to me here in Scotland UK on a 6 day delivery service and arranged to return wrong item from scotland to tampa.My initial thoughts were bad service from campingworld,however I was wrong, they have been very good and fixed the error with no hassle or cost to myself.We struggle to get this quality of service in Scotland.Well done campingworld in Tampa.Alan
