I want to put a shut off for my generac in the bedroom of my 2008 Hurricane 31H, I hate to have to get out of bed and shut the generator off in the front at night, any ideas or leads.

Thanks,

Gary Federico

I bought a pre wired switch

I bought it here http://www.norwall.com/index.php Northern tool also carry them. Plug and play, just splice your other switch near the connecter and your good to go!

I have never seen one,but they probably do make one or something that can be retro'ed.This was one of the easiest mods I have done.I am sure if you didnt want to do it your self you could find a local electrician apprentice to come over after work, took me about 2 hours, but if I was skinny, probably would have taken an hour Big Grin

Furthest south we are going is Baltimore(next weekend,Red Sox game) otherwise for the price of 2 beers I would have set you up.I like having it at the dash.My MH is starting to look like the space shuttle with all the electronic gadgets I have hooked up.If you ever come north ,I have a huge driveway.

A friend just call me last night and told me that someone stole all 75 gallons of fuel he had it all top off , out of his park HURRICANE in storage . Mad
I when out today and bought a locking GAS CAP $13.00 is alot cheaper then $318 .75 at $4.25 gallons in gas stolen Good Job

It is happening all over , even farmers are being hit and truckers and now M/H in storage.

Right now my mh has about 20 gal of fuel in it. Thats the way it stays until we travel. They have been drilling the bottom of tank to drain, so it cost a lot more than the price of fuel. Things are getting bad around here, they are even stealing copper from new homes under construction.
