OK, so the last post was feb 08. I guess most saw the news about TS and left the sinking ship. Well I am not ready to leave yet. We bought the River canyon because of the features, and would do it again. It's a down economy out there and we (RVers) have to play CYA for awhile. We have toi support the good service providers and rat out the bad ones. We have to vote for the good guys and rat out the bad ones.
There. Now having said that. The service shop at Smith RV in Decatur Tx just fixed a trim on the bedroom slide my unit that fell off. Abiout 8 screws broke. This would have normally been a warranty deal but I expected to pay since TS went in the toilet. The service manager said "No charge, that's not the way we do business". Are they gonna get more of my business? You betcha...
Now on a darker note. Obama is talking about financing his schemes by increasing the Capital gains tax (among others). Is he gonna get my vote?? Nope!!
I am not gonna tell you how to vote. All I am going to say is we are a member of the post-war baby boom. There are more of us than any other generation in the history of the country. If you want to, you can control this great country, but you have to listen to what they say and you have to vote.
