In Wesley chapel....exit 279 off I75. It's on the west side of the road. Are you at Blueberry Hill, by chance? Hey, I know all the good spots...

Bob went by Quail Run. Not to bad. Old section very tight. New section lots almost as large as Blueberry Hill. With new lots being all concrete that will be nice. Do you have any info on rates of new lots. Rich

I just checked in and got set up. I paid $233 for a week with the Good Sam discount. They always seem to have some space available. The Wi-Fi is real fast this year....a new service they're using. I got my 45 footer in without a problem. I wouldn't worry about small spaces at all. No problem last year, either. Sat TV and batwing TV work great heree. Gotta settle in now for the Cowboy game this afternoon.

Since it appears that I am the new kid on the block, I am thinking that perhaps I should let those that care, and don't care too, who I may or may not be.
I live in Ohio, on the Ohio River with a view of West Virginia that looks like a calender picture. I have owned motorhomes since 1974 and presently have two. One is a 35' 1988 Holiday Rambler with 24000 miles that I have owned for 19 years , and very obviously not used. The reason was every time I came home, I enjoyed the views here so much, I hated to leave. It's kind of like sleeping in the MH while it is in your driveway. Last May I drove my Bourget motorcycle to the local Dairy Queen to meet my wife there for a hot dog. When we came out of the resturant, a drunk driver chased me accross the lot on my bike, caught me, and almost killed me. My wife saw the action and had a Brain Aneurysm. The drunk driver went to prison, I aged ten years in seven months and decided to finally live the dream of seeing some of this country. My sister told me that "If I didn't go first class, my kids would". So, following her advice, I proceeded to buy a used 2003 Select. It has the Carmel Glaze interior, granite, marble, fireplace, and the computer desk. I know, a 2008 model would be even more first class, but give me a break to see if I can do this first. I am in the process of selling a very large collision repair shop. My main job for the last several years is "money stresser". Before that I was an ASE Certified Master Body and Master Certified Paint Technician. I have personally painted over 1000 semi trucks and motorhomes with the fancy stripes. Much like t/s has their MH's painted by a sublet supplier. Now, we do not do any large vehicles. So if I can answer a question or two, I'll try. I have a few ready for all of you. Jim, welcome. I am sorry for all your troubles but happy you went with TS, do enjoy the journy..
I had an aunt and uncle who lived in Bridgeport OH., looked over the river to WV. They died within days of each other and we had a double funeral. When we were at the cemetery and taps was being played up on a hill, two swans flew right over us, as if to take their souls to the heavens. What a beautiful place. 2001 Travel Supreme 36' Tow 2001 PT Cruiser |

Jim, welcome to this board. Hope we see posts from you often as it seems you have a lot of Rv experience to offer.
Are you located anywhere near Portsmouth? We were there this summer, looking at that fantastic mural on the floodwall. Stayed with a friend in Jackson who has his own RV campground with a private lake and.....the price was right Ohio is a beautiful state and I can't wait to see more of it. Hope to cross trails with you somewhere along the road. Bob and Carol 2007 Travel Supreme Alante 45MS14, K-2 Chassis 2006 LX470 Toad |

I am 50 miles up the river from Portsmouth. I can look West and see Kentucky, South and see West Virginia, and perhaps Jackson is 50 miles North.
I have a business in Portmouth, one of my adventures. It is the Wheelersburg Ponderosa. It was just announced yesterday that a brand new KOA is being constructed at Ashland, Kentucky. Construction is underway now. It is about 10 miles from me. I can see the lights from the Marshall University football stadium at night. Maybe 3 miles to the West. If you get back this way I would suggest Evergreen Resort in Mt. Hope, Ohio. It is the absolute center of Amish country. The resort is new, and has an indoor pool and hot tub. It is fully paved and not a rental car to be found for miles. There are Amish where I live, but the best place to visit is Berlin, Mt. Hope, Sugarcreek area. Jim 2003 Travel Supreme 45 Select |

Hi, this is Darvin and Karen from Illinois. We just got our TS Envoy 2007 last October and I've been sick with lung cancer so we didn't make it to sunny Arizona for 2007 winter but hope to this year. We've only camped in our TS a couple of times before I got sick, but we love it!! My DW has always wanted a TS and we finally got it. Now to enjoy it. Nice forum you have here.

Well, hate to admit it but had not noticed the T.S. thread til today. We have an 03 KSTSO 5er that is 43ft. long with 3 slides, full body paint and WE LOVE IT. Pull it with a full size Peterbilt and tow an HHR behind it. Been to the factory a couple of times getting the trailer updated with the latest and greatest and REALLY hope the factory closing is only temporary as they make a truly great product and are great folks to deal with. anyway, will not be a stranger here and will try to keep up with what ever is going on here.
