This ol class A has the air bags in the front coil springs. These bags are blown out.

I find an Air Lift 1000 air bag that appears to be the proper unit for the front coil springs?

Or are these air bags really needed? I have not driven this RV yet. Still working on getting it road safe again.

If it is a Chevy Chassis with independant front suspension (P32) then you either have to replace the air bags or replace the front coil spring with heavier duty ones to compensate for the lack of the air bags.

You will be happy with the new bags, Very happy.

I run mine at 65 (passenger side) & (55 drivers side) due to the crown in the road....

Have also installed them in the rear (bigger bags tho) and the air pressures are controled by a switch with gauges.....

The air pump was easy to to install also...

The chassis is a GM unit... p30 - p32 type chassis.

IF I decide on new coil springs too ... is there a preferred replacement coil spring?

Crosley, Yes there is a better coil around....

You will need to weigh the front end for the proper springs.....
