Well Dan to be honest about it,I'm going to the repair shop on Sat to go over a list of things I want done as I posted in my last post.

Not much is going to be done to the Rv until I have gone to get the V8 for Old Yellar on the 19th.To do that I need to car trailer the van which has already been converted to a 350 V8 from Evansville IND back to Roch NY.and transplant the 350 into Ole Yellar.

5x8 vendor trailer (the vendor trailer)

Well the tow from h.ll started on this past Monday to get the donor V8 Astro back from Evansville In to Roch NY.Got as far as 40 miles outside of Cleveland and smelled antifreeze.Nothing on the ground and not wet inside the passenger side.Thought it was the heater core and turned it around back to Roch.Cost $120 in gas plus tolls.Grrr.Got to look at it on Tues and found it was rotted hose clamps the we replaced only a yr ago for the rear heater. Before I went I changed the oil and filter on the LT.I have been a Fram filter guy for about 20yrs or more.Read a report that made take note about Frams filters and how cheaply they are made.So this time I used a Wex filter rated very high.I am very happy with it so far. When you step on the gas the oil pressure stays up for a long time afterwards.Got something to do with how the valving works better on the Wex filter and it filters more on them over the Fram design.Noticeable difference between the two.
