Congratulations, we have been there only once but you are in for a treat. Any nascar fan should try to go to Bristol at least one time.
It has been years since we`ve been there and I hear it has gotten very expensive. but that race LIVE is a great experience. Have a great time

It is great that you are going to Bristol. We're season ticket holders and go twice a year, camping at the Shadrack Campground that is located about 3/4 mile north of the track. The racing at BMS is superior to most other tracks, although the COT that was used last year was a little less exciting to watch than the previous car. Insofar as the costs are concerned, ticket prices has increased somewhat but they are still a value at BMS, especially when compared with Daytona where we were for the 500.

This year, the Sharpie 500 is run a week earlier on the schedule so I hope the weather is not an issue. It is 21 degrees here at the moment and we just got 5 inches of snow. Two years ago, it snowed at the track delaying the Busch race. Last year it was 80 degrees.
Smile

Enjoy the race and the campground.
