Has anyone produced a Excel spreadsheet with all of the maintenance items needed for a Diplomat, etc. with an ISL 400? I have had my rig for six months and it is getting time to get the required maintenance items organized. I thought I would check here, before I reinvent the wheel.

I've got something basic that was started by the previous owner of our coach. I believe it will help as it has many maintenance items consolidated on the Excel spreadsheet.

I don't believe we can do attachements here so send me a PM with your email address.

Luke,
I made an spreadsheet with separate pages for engine and chassis maintenance, generator maintenance, repairs, upgrades and part numbers I have acquired. More of a log and record than a spreadsheet geared for specific periodic maintenance items. Mine references dates and/or mileage which I can sort on. I still have to do some manual cross reference. Should not be difficult to do what I think you want to do though.

My exel spreadsheet is a log of what has been perfomed as opposed to what needs to be performed. It includes a fuel log computing miles driven since last fillup, mpg this tank, mpg this tank less generator, mpg since new, and mpg since new less generator. Date, odometer, gallons purchased, miles since last fill, cost per gallon, cost for fillup, comments section, brand, location, total gallons, gen hrs, and the above all on one line.
As an example, on my last motorhome I used 11,200 gallons of diesel in 92,000 miles. I am willing to send it to anyone that would like it and they could view it, delete the data, keeping the formulas, and use it. I could also create a blank one for anyone to use.

I prepared a spreadsheet for our purposes that does what you are asking. I went through the manual and included all of the items that I could find where service is indicated. The spreadsheet groups them by area (engine, batteries, transmission, etc.), identifies the item to be serviced, action needed, frequency, date last completed, mileage when done, etc. At the top of the spreadsheet you enter your rig mileage and generator hours and the items on the spreadsheet are compared to those values to identify which need to be done. The "Last completed" column highlights in a salmon color when the item is due. I have setup auto-filtering (small "down arrow" in the lower right corner of each of the column headings) so you can sort each column to get the listing you want. I also added a "Who does it?" column where I can indicate if I am going to do it or I will take it to a service dept. The idea was to sort out the list for a service entity, print it out and hand it to them. It may be a bit more than you are looking for, but at least it is a start. Here is a link where you can download it.

Diplomat ISL maintenance spreadsheet

Hope it helps.

Bill,
What an effort on your part. Very concise, making it easy to see when a service is due.
A job well done.

Bill - Just want to chime in with thanks. I've spent the weekend reading and annotating the manuals for our new Monarch, and my next step was to create a spreadsheet just like yours. You've very kindly shared your hard work for the benefit of all of us.

I'll try to post this back after I create one for our gas engine, along with interior appliances, etc.

thanks again!
