Is there any more room? We purchased a 2006 Monaco Knight 38 PDQ; Love it so far and are preparing for our initial round up of things to fix this fall in Elkhart, Indiana. Can anyone advise me of problems they've had. It may save us some time next spring if I'm aware of things to check for now. Happy Trails 2 U.

Hi Trls2U -

Welcome aboard! Thumbs Up Sure, there's always room for one more (or was that a potato-chip commercial?). And congrats on the acquisition, bet you'll be happy with it. When you get a chance, please update your profile so's we can recognize each other down the road.

Like any complicated piece of machinery, you're bound to have some issues from time to time. Just what and where sometimes seems to be the luck of the draw. I've had only a small handful of minor issues, all corrected to my satisfaction, while others aren't as lucky. But, it seems Monaco is as good as any and better than most, IMHO.

Our tour of the Elkhart factory is what sold us on Monaco, we basically couldn't wait to find the right floorplan. Haven't had experience with their service-area, but very pleased with the one in Wildwood FL.

If you do a search on the brand in here and you'll find a lot of discussion, both good and bad. If I had to guess, I'd say the slides/seals get the most emphasis (goes for all brands, come to think of it). But like someone told me, remember most of the folks with a brand aren't on here talking about it, they're out having fun in it!

Come back often.
Ron

OOPS!

In re-reading 007's and your post, Trls2u, it dawned on me that you were asking to have your title changed. Glad 007 got you hooked-up though, that's the important thing.

My bad. Hammer Whip

Sorry

dleslie 125,

I thought I recognized the name from the other forum. I see you made the move up to a Monaco product also. How has that been for you, hopefully as well accepted as it has for us.

Please add us to the Monaco board membership. New Here

We just bought our third motorhome and our 1st. DP... a 2005 Monaco Diplomat 40' PDQ.

Crystal joined me in retirement the first of the year and we are in our first year of fulltiming and felt it was time for a DP. We have a lot to learn and we will be leaning on this board's membership...thanks in advance.

Tim

Welcome aboard iRV2 Tim and congratulations on the new motorhome. You're going to be thrilled with the new 40PDQ. Since this is your first pusher, I can tell you, you'll be pleased the first time you seit behind the wheel.

Feel free to ask whatever questions you may have in the motorhome, chassis, or manufacturer specific forums.

I also updated your title so you're "in the club"
