Just Called Cummings office in Portland, OR. The service tech said the parts are on backorder and he took my name/number and will call me when they arrive. The numbers he quoted me on the phone, a bunch were on BO in his system, no one in the NW has the kits for repair.

just curious...I have an ISC330 Cummins. Should I be contacting my local Cummins shop about this? I hadn't heard about a part repair campaign.

Dealer took mine in (pre delivery) last week, and aside from the fuel line bracket, there was another one for a new valve cover, gasket, and blow by valve to correct some kind of piston pin issue. Don't have the paperwork here handy, can provide the Issue number if someone needs it. This is for the ISL 400 engine.

I received my recall notice today. This is for my ISC engine. Part of the recall notice says:
If I see the fuel line bracket on the fuel rail supply line between the fuel injection pump and the high pressure common rail accumulator the coach does not need the upgrade.

Ya'll may understand this, I have no clue how to make this inspection. I looked at the pictures in this thread and the links and still do not know what to do. In plain, layman's language can someone tell me how to do the inspection?
thanks

Just call Cummins and they will tell you. If your engine was built prior to late 2006 it doesn't have bracket.

GaryKD...
All you need to do is open the engine compartment hatch. When you do that...you will see the engine...and right there you will either see the bracket (that is in the photos) or if it isn't there...you know you will need to take the coach in.
Look at the photo.. I believe that I was on the "passenger side" of the engine and that is the side the bracket is on...
Does this help?

Mama,
When you say the engine compartment hatch, do you mean the one in the back bedroom and I would be looking down on the engine?

I could see the bracket on my engine from the rear with a flashlight and a mirror.

Didn't want to take the bedroom floor up.
