You will find this park review by "tapd" along with many others at the Campground Reviews area here on iRV2. (There is a link at the top of the page that reads "CG Reviews")

I hope you enjoy your trip to Utah...I think it has some beautiful scenery there.

JustDucky,

Call the very nice folks at Temple View RV Resort. We're only 39' but had no trouble. It is a nice CG.

Just Ducky,
Welcome to iRV2....
check out Zion River Park, this rv park is big rig friendly and is close to Zion National Park and St. George. We stayed here couple of years ago.

I believe at Temple View you will have to park out in what looks like a parking lot. We stayed there in "05 and all the big rigs (ours is 36) had to stay outside what I would call the actual park, in a gravel lot just left of the entrance road..

We have a review of Temple View and Zion River Resort in the campground review section here at iRV2.

We would find another location other than Temple View should we go through St George again. But then, we like Kodachrome Basin SP near Bryce, and your 45'er won't fit well there Big Grin

Welcome Wave, have fun here Party, and happy trails Sunshine.

Hi,

We have stayed at Temple View but were in the main section, it was fine. If you want to travel another 30 minutes further west, I would suggest the Casablanca Casino RV campground. It was only $16 for full hook-ups last year but is a small campground. Another one is across the street at the Oasis Casino but we have never stayed there. In addition on the eastern side in Arizona, Desert Skies Rv Resort seems quite nice but again we have never stayed there.

My wife and I stay at Zion River RV Resort, in Virgin, Utah, about 30 mins. from St. George. We've looked at many of the resorts there and we like Zion River the best. It's a first class resort and run as a first class operation. Their phone number is 800-838-8594. Be sure to ask for one of the big-rig sites. We think it's the nicest resort in Utah. Check out the Shakespearean Festival in nearby Cedar City while staying in SW Utah. You can order tickets on-line at Bard.org

We stayed at Temple View in St. George just two months ago in May of '08. We have a 41' motorhome with two slides and had no problem getting into a space in what I would call the main part of the park. Perhaps when Tom and Patty stayed there it was just full, or they have upgraded the park since then. When we stayed there, it was just for one night as we were heading north, but it seemed like a place I would be willing to stay again.
