Spending a few days here to go see some really big trees, as long as the roads are open due to snow and ice. The jeep with its snow tires come in handy at times like this. We are camping at the KOA at Visalia--the park seems very nice and is almost empty.

we have a place in springville just below Balch Park nice place to camp but at about 6500ft
the giants only grow between aprox 5500ft
7000ft so balch park doesent open till around
may because of snow
