Does anyone know the towing capacity of a 2005 GS Sun Voyager by chance? My papers are in the coach and that is in the shop still.
I want to change toads and don't know what weight to look for. TIA Lee This message has been edited. Last edited by: RV Wizard, |

In addition to the calculated tow capacity, you need to check the hitch as it may be a 3500# limit.

Yes, I have thought of that. But sorry to say the decal is gone. I'll have to look for a stamping in the metal.

I have my book opened to section 2 but I do not know if it will help much. It says that you should not have more than the Gross Combinatin Weight Rating GCWR That is the weight of the RV and what your are towing. My Gross Vehicle Weight is 20700. Factor 1 in the 5 factors says
"The weight imposed on the towing vehicle's rear axle (combination weight on rear axlee from towing vehicle and tongue load from towed load) shall not exceed the Gross Rear Axle Weight Rating as specified by the final stage manufacturer." On my unit my GAWR (rear) is 14500 lb. By the way I tow a 2008 Wrangler. Good luck and let me know if this helps. Mr. Proto |
