Has anyone removed the hidabed in their Sunvoyager? Is it possible without taking the thing apart?I don't need this and would like to open up some space inside the coach. I only have a 23 3/4 inch door opening.

TIA

I think that you could wiggle the sofa through the doorway. It will be very heavy being a hide-a-bed. You may want to dismantle (seperate bed frame from back & sides) it for the weight and ease of getting it out. You could always put it back together if need be. Be sure to secure the bedframe so it does not open when you turn it up or down.

Thank you RV. I plan on using the kids to do the lifting but will take it apart if we have to.
Thanks Again.

I removed mine to have it recovered, and what I found was the bolts went all the way through the floor. This wasnt a problem for the two bolts that I could get to in the basement storage boxes, but the other two were under the coach, behind the boxes, and close to the drive shaft. I had to use all the extensions I had for my socket set to even reach them, then had to get my son to turn the bolts from inside the coach while I held them. Wasnt fun. I almost didnt put those two back when I got the sofa back, but I bit the bullett and crawled under there again.
Good Luck

Hmmmmm, Sounds like more than I want to get involved in.
I will check out the attachment situation and make a decision from there. Thanks for the heads up!!

Ijust had mine removed (Old fabic, uncomfortable and took up too much room opened)
Had it replaced with a leather "Jack sofa. Just big enough for the great-grandson.

REMEMBER .... 6 for cocktails, 4 for dinner ......and 2 to sleep !
