I just purchase our first pop up as I realized I was to old to sleep on the gound anymore. Anyway, it is a 95 Jayco and is in very good shape aside from small tears in the corns wear the canvas meets the beds. I can see how this would be an empedemic with these trailers and was stunned to not find a discussion about this. I was hopeing to cut patches and use some sort of an adhesive to cover the tears and reinforce these areas. Any suggestions on material, adhesive or how I should go about this repair.

Also, should I do anything to the top so that it maintains its water ressistance? I don't know that there is a problem just wondering if it requires any PM.

Welcome to IRV2.....The small holes in the corners is kind of common in 10+ year old pop-ups. Now, do you know if it is in deed canvas or a newer material called Sunbrella 302 (modern tenting material acrylic).I know Coleman has been using it since the 90's. I had a 99' Coleman PU now I own a 05' Hybrid with the tent ends. I did get a small tare in mine by a seam that I used a little "Shoe Goo". Also a automotive product will work called RTV, which is a flexible glue used in attaching side moldings. Sunbrella is what is used in modern day store front awnings. It's like a thinner, closer weaved canvas. I had my awnings redone on my house and that was what they used. Now you could go to a local company that does store front awnings and see if they have scraps that match your color for your trailer. Shoe Goo should be sold at Wal-marts and K-Mart's. Try one corner to see if it will hold. Now my brother on his 77' pop-up had to replace his window screens. He just cut the old ones out and used a glue gun to glue new screening material in. Seemed to work......
