Sorry if this has already been covered, but is it possible to lift a Jayco Eagle PU that has the torsion axle. This PU does not have the traditional leaf springs and flipping the axle does not seem to be an option. Just wondering if there is a lift "kit" that would rais the trailer 3 - 4 inches?

Thanks

Yes, a weld shop can make the plates you need to lift your axle. Where are you from? If Northeast Ohio or Western PA, I can make some recommendations.

WOW, sorry it's been a while since I've been able to get back to this site. I live in the Phx, AZ. so I'm thinking that these may be a little far to drive to. But I did get another answer from the Rockwood Popup users forum. Apparently there is a spacer kit that can be installed (welded) between the frame and the axle that would give the lift needed. Now if I can only find the spacer kit, I'll be set.

Thanks for the response to my question. I appreciate that.

Kemptons in Mesa can get you a lift also. When I was priceing one for my '96 Jayco 1207 they estimated about $700 installed. I got rid of the '96 Jayco before doing the lift and now currently have an '06 Starcraft 3608 with a 4" lift. I had Payless in Phoenix install it before I picked up the pop-up. It added about $400 to my total. It basically amounts to a 4" "D" block bolted & welded between the original torsion mounts and the frame. Definately like the extra 4" of clearance.
