Let's see; how can I work my bike into this RV site?
You guys. Good luck on the Dragon. I have seen many pixs of that ride. Wish I was there. Chet who rides a Victory! It's great to be retired! |

Rode The Dragon last year with a group of great friends I'd met online. Had a great time. One of the best vacations I've ever had. Where did you stay with your RV when you were there?

For those of you who are planning to rent a motorcycle; it looks like the best day to ride the Dragon, would be Friday. If you are bringing your bike, let me know and I have some rides planned we can do when we have a few hours between activities. Remember Friday is not definite yet, just tentative.
See you all soon. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kablewizard, Jim (SSG US Army Ret.) and Cheri (TSG Phx ANG Ret.) Mesa ,AZ 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 HD Mega Cab Diesel and 2005 Honda Goldwing, 2006 35' Dune Chaser 5th Wheel See Our Camping Pictures |

I have a magazine at home (I think it is an AMA mag from a few months ago) that talks about many rides in that area besides the Dragon. I will scan the article and e-mail to you to help you pre-plan some other rides. -------------------- John & Joyce and Libby the Yellow Lab. 2005 Kountry Star FW-35LKSA by Newmar. I would recommend not riding the Dragon on a week end. It gets very crazy with the fast sport bikes. They (sport Bikes) will pass in your lane, and a curve and so on. Mid week in the am is the best time to ride it. It has the least traffic.
The cherahola sky way is another good ride as is hwy 64 along the Occoe river. I will unfortuantely be out on the oil rig during the ralley. Other wise I would attend. That is the area I ride on my days off. I know the area real well. Dave, 98 Holiday Rambler Alumalite TT 32FT Front Kitchen two slide out rooms. Yup, with the TRIKE, and you'll ride with me if yer their. Has anyone ever seen a Sport Bike take the high side at speed? If they try getting stupid with us, a big Trike makes a great rolling road block Steve, Pat, Hakbar, & Root Motor 2007 National RV Pacifica 36' 350 HP Cat C7, Allison 6 spd. 2007 HHR towed, 4 Motor Cycles mixed heritages.
