It looks like we will not be at Maricopa.... Got to take the dog to the vet FRI... for some diabetic tests... What a bummer.

Also, I had the drivers side windshield reset (R&R) and the installers wanted me to wait 48 hours for the urethane to set this time. Believe it or not they did it for free, 18 months AFTER the install (cracked).

Hitchhicker - remember we are weighing each wheel and not the whole rear axle. So, lets say each wheel shows 1500 lbs unloaded and 2500 lbs loaded does that mean the pin weigh is (2500x2)-(1500x2)= 2000 lbs?

Dale,

That sounds right to me.

I don't know of any other way to weigh the rear axle other than to weigh each wheel. I presume there are two separate scales, one under each wheel.

The sum of the two wheel weights is the axle weight. Difference from loaded to unloaded is pin weight.

Richard

I agree with the theory of weighing each wheel....I had my Vectra weighed by the local PD guys in Virginia Beach and they carry individual wheel weights....The officer said that's the only way (weigh...LOL) they do it.

Vectra was 30,500......I'm thinking the new beast will be considerably more!!
