PLEASE SEE UPDATED MENU ON PAGE 8
PLEASE SEE UPDATED MENU ON PAGE 8 PLEASE SEE UPDATED MENU ON PAGE 8 Both of our meals are going to be on the same day (Thursday July 20th), which will probably make it easier on all us "great cooks" who will be bringing dishes! I'm starting the sign up sheet below for the two meals. Each dish should feed 8-10 people - we'll have a lot of hungry folks there! It may look like a lot of food, but remember we've got 165+ coming! We'd rather have too much food than not enough!!!! The Texas Boomers are providing all the paper products so you'll only have to bring your dish and beverge of choice to breakfast and supper. Please sign up for both meals below and I'll update the list every day! Sandy It has been suggested that if you have a special dish to bring a stack of recipe cards to hand out! Also a good suggestion is to make a PLACECARD with the name of your dish. This is an excellent idea for those with food allergies or so we'll all know what delectible we're about to eat!!! Well Sandy I guess I had BETTER sign up with something as I tend to eat a bait of food myself. I don't want anyone to call me a freeloader.
I'll do a pot of Grits for breakfast like I did in San An'tone. (Yes Sunny I will make SURE to put enough butter in them this time) For supper I'll do something folks SEEM to like that I cook. A large cast iorn (10 gallon) full of rice, various meats, onions, fresh garlic and more kinds of seasoning than you can shake a stick at.
