I'm setting aside WEDNESDAY (July 23rd) on the schedule as our official site-seeing day. Of course, I'm not going to tie you to a hitchin' post While there are many places of interest with information in your welcome packet, I'm only going to do a signup for the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Drivers Needed: if you have a vehicle and can take a few passengers with you - please sign up as I did below. Passengers: due to fuel costs these days, it would be appropriate to pool together and give the driver a hand with fuel. FT WORTH STOCKYARDS 49 miles The Stockyards Station exemplifies Texas by providing an exciting blend of old and new with Historic Walking Tours that visit the Texas Trail of Fame, The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and more, over 25 unique shops including a winery, art gallery and great restaurants. Information in your welcome packet WILDCATTER RANCH: 35 miles cow pasture golfing, hiking and biking trails, view wildlife, longhorns in action, fishing, canoeing and horseback riding. Restaurant on premises. SHOPPING IN MINERAL WELLS/WEATHERFORD - 20 miles Brazos River Factory Stores, Boudreau Herb Farm, Clark Gardens Botanical Park, Canoe Rentals, Famous Mineral Water Company, Mineral Wells State Park and Trailway, gift shops and restaurants...then head to Weatherford to the historical downtown district with unique/antique shops, restaurants and such. Ft. Bill and I can drive. We only have extended cab of thr truck but two flexible people can fit. I will sit in back so a longer legged person can have the front.

Whoo-Hoo! I'll get you on the signup as a driver with two passengers. I'll also have a sign up sheet in the rally hall and might get some more "takers". Sue and her daughter, Samantha, I heard are going to Ft Worth. If it's just the six of us, we can go in my Toyota Highlander together....!!! ONLY ONE MORE WEEK!!!!
