I know there has been a lot of discussion concerning the heat in Texas in July. Well I have been tracking the temperatures in Perrin this last week and each day is the same as here in Northeast North Carolina. In fact this morning it was cooler in Perrin than here.

So if I am going to be hot anyway I would a lot rather be hot haveing FUN FUN FUN at the rally.

I even boought special pink clothes for the week. Roll Eyes

My outdoors thermometer is reading 78 right now (11:50 AM), weather man said up to 87 today. Whew, that's hot for these mountains in western NC! Sunshine

Y'all have a great time, don't let the weather concern you as you'll be having such a good time it'll be a non issue.

Regards,
Richard

We are looking foreward to the cooler weather. Right now in Phoenix at 9:30 in the morning its 96 untill yesterday we had 12 straight days of 110 or better, most days it was 113 or better. I cant wait till we get some of that humidity. Here when you perspire it drys fast at least back there you stay a bit damp and the air keeps you cool.

I think where ever you live you think its hot in the summer. See ya'll soon.

The updates on the weather are encouraging...at least I know it's the same all over.

It's funny that the temp is the same here as it is in NC, but yet we get bad reviews for having hotter than Hades weather. I nearly died in Sevierville 2 years ago and in Branson last year, the humidity was 100 times worse than here in the Houston area.

the good news is we'll all be sweatin' together and having fun!

Nancy...oh girl...you know how I love PINK! This year, I'm wearing a pink cowgirl hat...with a jeweled tiara on the front!!

Getting REALLY close

Yes Bill & Nancy it is very hot and humid here in NC,but on the local weather they are advising people to stay inside in the air conditioning as much as possible, can't hardly do that at a rally! That is why we don't camp in mid summer, can't take the heat anymore. Ya'll have fun,we'll sit this one out in our air conditoned stick house.

Hmmmmm. 58 in Maine now with high predicted around 70 today. Word is it might reach 80 by Friday. Had to run a/c back about three weeks ago - it was almost 85 one day. Haven't seen any clouds this week but I'm sure they are out there. Might not be for everyone but it works for this summer. Laugh

HMMMM Let's see, air conditioned rally hall, rig, and truck and loads of huge shade trees to park under and a nice breeze always blowing at Mitchell RV Park. I just don't see heat being a real problem at this years national rally in Texas. Of course if you don't come you'll never know.
