Hello LD Smile,

Passport America does have 2 different websites. It is not because one is old and the other is new, it is actually because we have 2 different owners. I know it can be confusing and I apologize for that;however, it is more beneficial to go to www.passport-america.com b/c that website it updated every week which makes it more current than the other website. Hope this helps! Cool

$3.00 because I have a washer/dryer, but I'm not doing wash
$3/5.00 to dump, but if I pay full price N/C
What you have a goldfish that's $2.00 more you may change the water, just joking, but they do want more money if I have a dog.
This is just crazy what some of the CG do so you still pay full price or more.
So you know, I been a member for awhile and have recommend PA to friends.
I stayed at Cassidy's in La Porte, IN last week and he said his prices went up over last year and would be $4.00 more. All I said was the web pages hadn't been changed, his response was OK I can only charge you last years price. That's what you have to get other CG to do charge what they say on PA web site.

Hi "read & learn" Wave

The extra charges that you're talking about should not just be for PA members. For example, if the campground charges $3.00 extra for a/c, it should be for the full paying people at the park as well as PA members. If you see that you're getting charged differently, please let us know and we'll be more than happy to look into it for you. Please let me know if there are any additional questions/concerns you or anyone else may have. Have a great one! 2thumbsup

We at one time had PA and we dropped it because of all the restrictions we encountered. Can anyone here explain the real differences between PA and C2C memberships ?

The restrictions are all listed in the book. Seems strange to just not live with the restrictions on time an dates and stuff. Just takes a second to see them in the book. We sure do. If they didn’t have the restrictions to keep them from losing money during there times they would be full anyway, then they wouldn’t be in the book at all. I think of all the times we have stayed at a Passport America parks and swam, laundered, or talked with people who paid full price for exactly the same services we were enjoying. If you stay a lot at parks, there is a great chance that this has happened to you and you didn’t know it. Maybe I am cheap, but I love paying half price. If my wife (the navigator) can spend 1 minute to save $16, then that is time well spent.

I would like to hear more about these 2 owners.

Are these actually two separate companies with the same name??

Also why one is called "THE ORIGNAL" and the other is not???

Why are the 800 number different??

My suspension is these are two completely separate companies, but I may be incorrect.

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Hi Tom,

Passport America has 2 different offices with 2 different owners, but is still the same company. The 800 numbers are different b/c one 800 number is to the office in Long Beach, MS and the other 800 number is to the office in Crestview, FL. You still get the same discount from either one, which is 50% off of the regular camping rate. They are both "the original" b/c they were both started at the same time (in 1992). Hope this clears up some of the confusion Smile
