I plan to travel as long as I can reasonably afford it. We all choose to some extent where we will spend our discretionary money. We have bought RV's because we like the convenience and the way of life. Many of us will just have to choose to forego something else to fill the tank occasionally. As an earlier poster alluded to: Oil is a finite product which will either run out some day or be priced so high none of us commoners can afford it (if we also want to eat and be clothed). There is still a lot out there. How much, no one knows for sure, but some that is as yet untapped. These sources must be made available, with minimal impact on the environment. Someday an alternative to petroeum products will be made price-competitive and the vehicle builders will figure out how to use it in RV's. Until then, use your discretion. Anyway, if we don't use the RV's, they decay. I plan to enjoy mine and give up something else.
