Wow – I can’t believe the response to this. I put this question on a couple different RV sites yesterday morning & have received dozens upon dozens of responses. I don’t believe one of them was negative. I’m convinced & will be picking up a pair of the Maxxair-II’s tonight.

THANKS ALL!!!!!

You will be happy with your purchase -- I have two of them on my MH --- they work well -- the way they should.

Do the Maxxair II's work better with a Fantastic fan? I installed a fantastic fan on my TT a couple months ago and it works great! But like others have said it'd be nice to be able to not worry if it rains. All the RV dealers say the Maxxair 1 and 2 don't work well with a fantastic fan and try to sell me the BIG vent cover for $100+

May I suggest this Maxair from here? I looked around and Sacs & I decided this would work best for us --- and the price was great! This is our third RV and we have had Maxair on the other - but I like the idea of being able to clean under it easily. Nod -plus the pricing at RV UpGrades was the best!! (Delivery was super fast too!!)

Thanks Mama - that is a good price. Fortunately I have a friend who works at an RV dealer & he got me 2 of the ones you suggest (Maxxair-II) for $29 each. Nice to have an employee cost for parts.

Looking at the Maxxair website, they do not recommend the Maxxair II for use with high powered ventilators, like the Fantastic fan.

They recommend the original Maxxair.
