Even though I just put a locking fuel cap on my MH, I decided to replace the non-locking cam to a keyed locking cam to the fuel door.

Winnebago part numbers:
110506-40-700 - Hardware package cylinder/case
110506-60-000 - Cam latching - straight 2.4"
110506-54-005 - Case/cylinder - w/o cam/key - 1.25" (more than 1 part number due to different numbered keys.)

Removal of the old cam and installation of the new keyed-cam only takes a few minutes and if nothing else, the cam t-handle no longer smacks the side of the MH when open.

Winnebago has more than one cam and more than one cam latching leg, so be sure to check your OEM cam before ordering the same parts that I used for my fuel door.

Don't pull out in front of me; I may not have any brakes!

I read some where that the lock from the outside entertainment center can be used to replace the cam lock on the gas door. The idea was that the center did not need one. Just a thought.

I picked up the lock assembly and two keys at the Winnebago surplus store in Forrest City a couple of years ago. They had several sets at that time. I did have to take the latching arm off the old assembly and transfer it to the new one.
I think I paid $2 or so for mine.

Switching the radio and fuel locks was is such a good idea that I am embarrassed that I did not think of it myself. Unfortunately, it does not work! The keyed lock has a larger diameter than the un-keyed one.

we'll be in Forest City next month for repair work (don't ask), I'll look for surplus locks at that time.
