This RV park is wonderful we are staying here for 10 days. This place is so beautiful and is so well cared for and just relaxing. The property is west of Kerrville texas. This is our first long stay for us since we got our motor home the last part 2006.

For those folks planning rallies, this park has the capability to handle rallies of over a hundred rigs....iRV2 member John Canfield and his wife attended one such rally in this area recently and loved the area so much they bought a ranch!
I am told the "hill country" of Texas is something to see...

Bob,

Shhhh.....we don't go spreading that around. That's our little secret!! Sorta like Big Bend and the Davis Mountains. Wink

Buckhorn Lake is a top-notch RV resort. We've stayed there many times.

We've stayed at Buckhorn several times, hosted rallies there, and know Dee, Kathy and Marlin very well. We now live about five miles from the resort.

FYI there is another campground in Kerrville worth looking at as well. Guadalupe River RV Resort http://www.guadaluperiverrvresort.com/ is a fine place to stay and has some amenities that are unique.

We used to think so as well, but the last few times we stayed there, the RV section was going downhill as all the emphasis seemed to be on the new park-model section added at the west end of the property. Frown

No doubt about it, it's one of the best of the best. We attended the same rally as John last fall and are heading back for an extended stay this coming fall. See you there Jim & Jeanne.
