Better than the Grand Canyon in my opinion. Located in Utah about 3-4 hours from Grand Canyon and Salt Lake City. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. If you like hiking...this is the dream spot. Try the Narrows, the Emereld Pools and Angel Peak...three of the best spots. Bring your camera!

3 or 4 RV parks in the national park. Others in St. George and Bryce Canyon. Don't let the hill scare you, it's not too bad.

Be aware of the height/width restrictions of the tunnel you may want to go thru.

It is a beautiful park for sure. Here is the info on the tunnel if you decide to take an rv thru it.

Tunnel Escort:
*Most buses, RVs, trailers, and dual wheeled trucks require an escort to travel through the Zion-Mt Carmel Tunnel.
*$15.00 fee per vehicle in addition to the entrance fee.
*Pay this fee at park entrance before proceeding to the tunnel.
*Required for all vehicles and trailers 7'10" (2.4 m) in width and/or 11'4" (3.4 m) in height or larger. Fee is good for 2 trips through the tunnel for the same vehicle within 7-day period.

Aquarius Plateau

We took our Toad thru the tunnel into Zion. Was 104 degrees when we were there. Thought Bryce was better. Much cooler.

We went to both...we enjoyed both Zion & Bryce but...I LOVED Bryce Canyon!!

If you are going to Zion NP, and have the time, the Kolob Canyon section of the park is also worth seeing. It is much less visited and has different scenery than the main canyon.
