Saw this last week while we were at the dealer getting the Tioga worked on. DH and I have been going back and forth about Class A vs. Class C and this is a great compromise.
DH has been wanting a Class A, but I can't digest the payments. This has all the room of a Class A, but a lower payment. Additionally, I like driving our C, because it's like a truck. DH likes the full body wall slide that has cabinets and closets the length of the hallway into the king-sized bedroom. Washer and dryer, and a very nice bathroom. The 2 sofas up front means each girl can spread out without having to make beds all the time! We think we could live in this one when we go on the road next year! www.werv4fun.com Downsizing to live fulltime in our RV with our children. Countdown to June, 2009! Looks great. Is it cheaper than a DP? There is one on local dealers lot; he has it priced at about 166K. Just curious. Think they look great and are on my list of potentials.

This one has an MSRP of 165K with markdown to 129K. We aren't ready to buy now, and didn't try to negotiate further, but I'm sure there is still some wiggle room.
So it's cheaper than most of the DP's I've seen with the same features (maple cabinets, full slides, electric awning, corian). Since it has the raised rail chassis, there is the same storage as an A, including pass-through storage. The only thing that's not up to par with a DP is the cockpit. Not as comfy or plush, I guess because of the truck chassis. I haven't seen these on the road, so they must be really new. We may go down and test drive it soon.... www.werv4fun.com Downsizing to live fulltime in our RV with our children. Countdown to June, 2009! Sign up for a feed of our blog. |

I was one of the first kids on the block to order the SuperNova. I ordered it the first time I saw it and test drove in February 2007 and got it at the end of May. I have the 6331 with the paint on the previous post. I love the way mine handles and drives. Since I bought mine, they have made them even better with the addition of the inverter, central vac, 529 gears (had to change mine to 529, first Nova's came with 617, a bit too low), and those cool new tank covers. I have 12,000 miles on mine and am leaving tomorrow from Texas to South Florida. It is true what they say, its the journey, not the destination. The best part of the SuperNova is driving it. It camps well but drives great.

Go to their web site and do a search for the Super Nova. And look on RV.net. There are good ones and bad ones out there. Unfortunately we had one of the worse ones made. Too bad for it was a nice looking rig. Used it once, had it for 7 months, then decided it was time to cut our losses and move on. Great idea, just too bad GS was not careful with their quality control on the coach we had. Sue '06 Torrey Pines '08 Chevy 3500 Crew Cab dooley Hubby and 1 cat. Box Elder, South Dakota |

I have only seen Supernovas on internet but wonder about the console box between the two seats. Is it a pain to climb over to get into RV area. Thanks

Was not as easy as in a Class A! But it was doable. I guess a lot would depend on your size. The biggest pain was getting your foot and leg over the floor mounted emergency break.
