After installing a Scangauge on my 2007 Ford E-450 with the Aspect 29H body.

Test trip was to Nasville 226 miles round trip.
Running 65 on I-40 down hill to Nashville up hill going home. Gauge read 9.6 MPG average.

We just drove to Sioux Falls, SD in our Class A to trade for a new Class C Atlantis, E450, 6.8L engine. We drove 954 miles back to Nashville, and averaged about 8.7 mpg. There was alot of wind blowing, mostly from the north which took it left to right across our bow. The coach ran so great, we were smiling the entire way. No toad being pulled on this trip. But, whatever the mpg, we were happy to save an average of 73 cents a gallon, the difference between diesel and gas! I think we are going to absolutely love this new Class C, the same amenities as the Class A, but smaller scale.

Well trip from Crossville, TN to ANtioch, IL.
About 750 miles. I averaged 9.5 on the interstate at 55/60 mph.
Back roads from Belvidere, IL to Antioch I got 8.5. Too much stop and go on back roads. Drops the mpg.

We have a 2008 Jayco 31SS and made our first trip... we got 10.1MPG with no toad, about half local roads with hills and half interstate... but kept the speed at 60MPH max on the interstate... ran great and the Tow/Haul did a good job on grades...

Update..
We did a short trip to the NE corner of Bear Lake,ID., Average speed 65mph, 295 mile round trip, took 21 gallons of 87oct. to fill up, figure thats 11.8 mpg, still breaking 'er in, no toad. Very impressed with the power and speed I was able to maintain climbing out of there up a 7% grade, as well as the tow/haul feature helped by needing minimal brakeing when we came down the same grade. Very nice, indeed.
Sorry about that,I have the '07 chassis.

Well after having this ASpect with the E450 for a year now.

This is the first time I drove from KY/TN border with it in Tow/Haul all the way.

With my Scangauge I see in "Real Time Values" I was getting better MPG readings 11/12 most of the time. Final Average was only 10 MPG. Running 60 MPH with a toad. When I make the same trip not useing TH. I was getting single digit MPG readings on the flats and going up hill. (can not count going down hill)This was on I-24 and I-40. So will have to test a little more by running in TH more.

2007 BT Cruiser Model 5291 just turned 4000 miles. Calculated a running average over the last 790 miles was 11.58 mpg. It's pretty flat here in Indiana and I keep it under 65 mph.
