We are attending 2 events in Center Hall.... need to camp for 3 days between events.

Choices 1) 14 miles to Bellefonte on 144 (IS IT AS HORRIBLE AS SOME SAY - horrible mtns)

2) 40 MILES east on route 45 (fewer mtns)

Re these eventsyou are attending in Centre Hall - might they be at the Grange Fairgrounds?

If so, I believe you will be able to stay over at the Grange grounds for $20/nite.

We attended the PA State Winnebago-Itasca Travelers rally last weekend and stayed an extra night. Others stayed 2 or 3 nights extra.

Arrangements can be made with the on-site security at their building.

While you are there, check out The Whistle Stop restaurant in town. Good food and nice people.
