Can anybody tell me goods and bads about towing a PUP with a Ford Explorer? And I don't want to hear the Chevy vs. Ford battle that is not what I want

Hang in there, someone w/ an Explorer will answer. We used a Jeep Cherokee w/ the 4.0L six to tow ours and it did fine. I'm sure the Explorer will handle the job.

thanks we just had to down grade from a 5th wheel (couples trailer) to the PUP because we were tired of the kids stealing all the heat on those cold nights and because of the gas now a days the way I figured it was that if we didn't down size now then we were not going to be able to afford to latter so we had a really nice Dodge 2500 and traded even for an Explorer and then we had a 23 foot 5 th wheel and traded to a 10 ft PUP so now I am hoping that we get the better mileage that we are hoping for
